Made in Steel is an international event dedicated to the steel supply chain that will be held from 6-8 May 2025 in halls 22-24 at the fieramilano Rho exhibition grounds in Milan, Italy. The event is owned and organised by ‘Siderweb: the steel community’ (an information, analysis and consultancy body specialising in the Italian steel sector) and held this year in collaboration with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Italy.
“The B2B event offers business and networking opportunities, but also in-depth analysis of the topics that are key to the steel supply chain. It is an exhibition as well as a cultural hub with conferences, fora and roundtables. The event aims to encourage competitive collaboration and the exchange of information, essential elements for the growth of businesses,” said the show organiser, Siderweb.
Every two years, Made in Steel brings together national and international key figures from the steel industry. Exhibition space for this year’s event sold out within seven months. This year, the event will be held alongside LAMIERA, the sheet metal trade show, which is also held at the fieramilano exhibition halls from 6-9 May 2025.
‘The Beauty of Steel’
“Buyers, sales and purchasing managers from leading national, European and global steel groups will meet with steel manufacturers. Representatives not only from prominent companies but also from national and European institutions will gather to discuss relevant innovations for the steel industry. Sustainability and innovation, market dynamics and geopolitics are some of the central themes that will characterise talks, events and roundtables at ‘Made in Steel’,” explained Siderweb.
The show organiser expects this year’s event to attract around 350 exhibitors and co-exhibitors, over 30% of which will be international (20 countries outside Italy). It anticipates visitor numbers of between 18 to 20,000. Visitor registration is open from March 2025.
‘The Beauty of Steel’ is the theme chosen for this year’s Made in Steel, which will celebrate steel as a symbol of progress, sustainability and innovation.
