The 33rd edition of BIEMH will be held from 2-6 March 2026 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (Bilbao, Spain). BIEMH 2026 is organised by AFM, Machine Tool Manufacturers; AIMHE, Machine Tools Importers and Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and SPRI -Basque Government as institutional partners. AFM, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, is the Spanish association of manufacturers of machine tools, accessories, parts and tools, representing 90% of machine tool and advanced manufacturing technology companies in Spain.

“BIEMH 2026 is establishing itself as a major live technological showcase for advanced manufacturing, offering solutions designed to boost competitiveness and address the current challenges facing the industry. So far, over 1,350 exhibiting companies from 29 countries have confirmed their participation at BIEMH 2026, including leading Spanish and international brands,” the show organisers explained.

Across six halls, the trade show will represent a range of key sectors including cutting and forming machinery; tools; accessories; welding; metrology; components; sheet metal and tube cutting; and surface treatment lines. Large machinery in operation will enable visitors to experience industrial processes in action. The exhibition will round off with tools, components, accessories, metrology and services for production, providing a comprehensive showcase for the industrial ecosystem.

“BIEMH 2024 in Bilbao attracted 37,000 professionals from 67 countries, a highly qualified audience with high decision-making power. Notable job roles included managers, owners, directors and department heads from industrial companies in strategic sectors such as aeronautics and aerospace; automotive; capital goods; defence; electronics and electricity; energy; rail; naval; oil & gas; steel and industrial subcontracting,” added the show organisers.

Hall 6 at BIEMH 2026

Automation, robotics and digitalisation will feature prominently in Hall 6 at BIEMH 2026.

“The trade show will reinforce the prominence of these strategic areas, which are true cutting-edge trailblazers in advanced manufacturing and key to moving towards more efficient, flexible and connected production models. These sectors will display what they have to offer in Hall 6, which will occupy 20% of the total exhibition space. Well-known manufacturers such as ABB; Siemens; Yaskawa; Beckhoff; Motofil; ESSS; Farresa; KUKA; Zimmer Group; Hiwin; Baumer and Semantic Systems have already confirmed their participation in this hall, where they will exhibit modern robots and equipment,” confirmed the show organiser.

“Hall 6 will also host the Innovation Workshops, where representatives from exhibiting companies will present technological developments on the stands. This integration of demonstration and technical exhibition will allow visitors to analyse the functionalities, applications and advantages of each innovation, establishing a direct link between the more theoretical content and its practical implementation in industrial environments,” it added.
