The 23rd edition of sheet metal trade show, LAMIERA, will be held at fieramilano Rho (Milan, Italy) from 6-9 May 2025. It is promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE (the Italian machine tool, robot and automation system manufacturers’ association) and organised by CEU-CENTRO ESPOSIZIONI UCIMU. The event highlights sheet metal forming, cutting and processing machines as well as related technologies in the sector.

“LAMIERA is the only trade fair in Italy exclusively dedicated to the metal forming sector. It is being chosen by more and more Italian and overseas companies as a platform to showcase their projects and innovative solutions,” commented the show organiser.

Machines and equipment for processing sheet metal; tubes; profiles; wire and structural metal fabrication; presses, moulds and dies; surface treatment and finishing; parts, components and accessories; tooling; fastener materials; technical and industrial subcontracting represent the heart of the exhibition.

“LAMIERA will show the latest technologies or ‘The Bright Side of Metal Forming’, as its slogan says, and will place a special focus on specific technological themes relating to machine tools,” continued the show organiser. “It will be held alongside the ‘Made in Steel’ exhibition, which will take place from 6-8 May 2025 at Fieramilano Rho.”

Entry to the exhibition is free with online pre-registration.

Six technological themes

“To date, over 300 registered companies have applied to exhibit i.e. more than the number collected, in the same period, for the 2023 show,” confirmed UCIMU. Around 27% of the applications received to date are from companies outside Italy, it reported. In 2023, the exhibition attracted 19,000 visits from sector professionals, as well as 400 exhibiting companies (27% of which came from outside Italy, representing 22 countries).

The event offers a comprehensive overview of technological innovations, advanced solutions and emerging trends in the industry, bringing together specialists, companies and professionals from around the world.

The 23rd edition of LAMIERA will host several different areas of the exhibition, with six technological themes.
