A special highlight at the 16th Blechexpo International Trade Fair for Sheet Metal Working and the 9th Schweisstec International Trade Fair for Joining Technology will be the presentation of the “Best Award 2023” for outstanding innovation at Blechexpo/Schweisstec. The deadline for submissions has now been extended to 15 September 2023.

The innovation prize and industry award is awarded by the Schall trade fair promoter and trade journals MM Maschinenmarkt and Blechnet. Participation is free of charge for exhibitors at the Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade show in Stuttgart, Germany (7-10 November 2023).

“All submitted innovations will be reviewed and evaluated by an expert jury with members from industry, associations, research institutes and the trade press. The objective is to ceremoniously honour the best innovations in the sheet metalworking industry, each in its own technical category,” said Schall.

Winners will be announced live on the large awards stage at Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2023 on the first day of the Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade fair in Stuttgart (7 November 2023). On the second day of the trade fair, winners will be given a free presentation slot at the exhibitor forum to present their winning innovations to the trade fair’s visitors.

The “Best Award 2023” will be conferred in the following industry categories:

  • Sheet metal, pipe and profile processing.
  • Stamping technologies.
  • Cutting, joining and fastening technologies.
  • Pressing and forming technologies.
  • Steel/metal services and surface finishing technology.
