EuroBLECH 2020, the 26th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibitions, will take place from 27-30 October 2020 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. At EuroBLECH, manufacturers and suppliers of materials, machines, tools and systems will meet trade visitors.

“In the era of digital change, the sheet metal working industry has acquired pole position. Key topics, such as e-mobility and sustainable production, are important drivers for new materials and products as well as the digitalisation of manufacturing processes including planning, control and logistics,” said Evelyn Warwick, Exhibition Director of EuroBLECH, on behalf of the organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

“It was already apparent at the previous EuroBLECH exhibition that the industry sector demonstrated a high degree of digitalisation throughout the entire processing chain and had set the stage for the smart sheet metal working factory. Digital systems and networked production encompass every single step in the value chain of sheet metal fabrication. Now, the challenge will be to firmly establish and optimise these digital production processes, to enhance their efficiency and flexibility to offer highly customised products for the end-user,” she continued.

“The demand for effective solutions and specialist expertise is currently high in the sheet metal working industry. To align their production to the complex demands of smart manufacturing, visitors to EuroBLECH specifically look for flexible and cost-efficient solutions to operate successfully in the future,” concluded Evelyn Warwick.

As a vertical trade show, EuroBLECH covers the entire sheet metal working technology chain and offers the industry sector a marketplace for knowledge transfer, individual manufacturing solutions and worldwide business contacts. A total of 1,507 exhibitors from 40 countries and 56,307 trade visitors from 105 countries attended the previous EuroBLECH in 2018, which occupied 89,800 square metres of net exhibition space at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany.

The EuroBLECH exhibition profile covers the entire sheet metal working technology chain. Visitors at the show are sheet metal working specialists at all management levels in small and medium-sized companies as well as large enterprises, from a variety of industry sectors. Further information on EuroBLECH, as well as exhibitor information, can be found on the newly designed exhibition website.
