LAMIERA exhibition preview

LAMIERA, the international trade show centred on sheet-metal forming and cutting machines and related technologies will take place at fieramilano Rho in Milan, Italy, from 10-13 May 2023. The show organiser, CEU-CENTRO ESPOSIZIONI UCIMU, anticipates a sell-out show with around 350 exhibitors.

“LAMIERA is the only trade show in Italy specifically focused on the sheet-metal sector. It highlights the primary role played by the Italian metalforming industry worldwide, which is high up in the rankings for production, exports and consumption. This helps to increase the appeal of this event for operators in the international manufacturing industry,” commented UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian machine-tool, robots, automation systems and ancillary products (NC, tools, components and accessories) manufacturers' association.

In 2022, LAMIERA registered over 19,000 turnstile entries over the four days of the exhibition. Approximately 365 exhibitors in two halls supported the event, which covered a total exhibition surface area of over 40,000 square metres.

Six technological themes

Besides showcasing stand-alone machines and complex industrial equipment/software for sheet-metal forming and processing, the exhibition will focus on six technological themes that “are crucial for the production in the sector today.”
