The second edition of Manufacturing World Fukuoka will take place from 11-13 December 2024 at Marine Messe Fukuoka (Japan).

“Following its successful inaugural edition in 2023, the event brings together a diverse range of industry leaders, experts and cutting-edge technologies. This year’s event is poised to be even more impactful, as the final Manufacturing World event of the year is set to cap off 2024 with a significant gathering of the manufacturing community,” said the show organiser, RX.

“Building on its strong debut last year, Manufacturing World Fukuoka 2024 is expanding to become the largest manufacturing exhibition in the Kyushu region. This year’s show is expected to attract 420 exhibitors and over 15,000 visitors,” it added.

The event will feature ten specialised shows covering a wide array of industries and technologies. These include:-

  • Design Manufacturing Solutions Expo: this showcases IT solutions such as CAD, CAE, ERP and production management systems.
  • Medical Device Development Expo: this is focused on innovations in medical and healthcare equipment.
  • Mechanical Components & Technology Expo: this highlights motors, bearings and mechanical components.
  • Factory Facilities & Equipment Expo: this features energy-saving products, logistics solutions and safety equipment.
  • Industrial AI/IoT Expo: this presents IoT platforms, AI technologies and communication devices.
  • Additive Manufacturing Expo: this displays advances in 3D printing and materials.
  • Measure/Test/Sensor Expo: this includes the latest measuring instruments, inspection devices and sensors.
  • Manufacturing DX Expo: this showcases solutions to drive digital transformation.
  • Industrial ODM/EMS Expo: this focuses on development, manufacturing and outsourcing services.

A notable highlight this year is the newly added Manufacturing Cyber Security Expo, addressing essential security measures, along with the introduction of the Smart Maintenance Expo.

“In addition to the exhibition, 12 conference sessions will be held, featuring expert speakers who will delve into the latest industry trends, technological innovations and best practices,” added the show organiser.

Fukuoka, located in the Kyushu region, is the fourth largest economic area in Japan and is known for its robust industrial ecosystem. The region is home to clusters of automobile manufacturing, heavy industry, electronics and a rapidly growing semiconductor sector. The Marine Messe Fukuoka convention centre is a 15-minute drive from Fukuoka Airport and the bustling downtown area.
