In the October 2024 issue of ISMR, which you can read on https://joom.ag/LHud, we feature a variety of interviews with key industry figures who highlight global sheet metal forming and fabrication market trends and forecasts, as well as opportunities and challenges.

Dr-Ing. Stephan Mayer, Chief Executive Officer Machine Tools, TRUMPF, shared his market views with ISMR on page 32. Vaski Group Oy’s owner and managing director, Michael Mansour, also outlined his expectations for the recent acquisition of Pivatic Oy and his views of global market trends on page 46.

Voortman’s Head of Commerce, Rutger Voortman, told ISMR how Voortman’s philosophy, investments and scope of operations have evolved to fit changing market and customer requirements (page 58). Eneko Conde, sales manager at GEKA Ironworkers (page 70), and Karsten Koert, owner and managing director of SMT (page 80), also took ISMR through their latest company innovations and strategic/technical strategies.

On page 10, you can read our latest updates on the 27th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, EuroBLECH, which takes place from 22-25 October 2024 in Hanover, Germany. It is the world’s largest trade exhibition for the sheet metalworking industry and many manufacturers will be launching new products and technologies there.
